I grew up in New York and went to college with plans to study law. After taking my first psychology class, I was hooked. I graduated from Cornell University with an undergraduate degree in Child Development and Family Studies. I continued my education at Hofstra University where I received a combined Ph.D. in Clinical and School Psychology. After working in the public school system and conducting private school admissions testing in Manhattan, my husband and I decided two children in a one bedroom apartment in NYC wasn’t the life we wanted, and we moved to Charlotte, NC.
Shortly after moving to Charlotte, I began working in private practice specializing in assessment work. I slowly grew my practice while taking the time to focus on raising my children and enjoying my family. As my kids got older, I expanded my practice to include work with parents and coaching students to better understand how they learn. I truly enjoy helping families develop workable solutions for the challenges they face.
When I’m out of the office, you can usually find me writing a report or at one of my childrens’ sporting events. We spend A LOT of time on different fields! I am also a Pilates enthusiast. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and close friends, traveling, and watching movies that make me laugh.
